Everything always seems to fall into place for twenty-four year-old
Aubrey Jenson, except for when it comes to her luck with men. Bad boys always draw her in and crush her heart, and Black Falcon’s lead guitarist, Riff, is no exception.

When she returns to New York, she tries to get the passion she felt in Riff’s arms out of her head by dating Isaac, a successful representative at Center Stage
Marketing. Just when she thinks she’s forgotten Riff, she’s forced to see him again when her best friend, Lanie, ropes her into being a bridesmaid for her upcoming wedding to Black Falcon front man, Noel.

Riff rocked my bed!
April 23, 2013 | By Flgatorbabe
Riff rocked my bed and my world! Let me start off by saying how steamy the sex scenes are. Oh my! Riff definitely knows how to treat a woman. (Almost as good as Jack in My Nights With Kate, one of my new favorites!)
Although Rock My Bed could be a stand alone novel, you really should read Rock the Heart and novella Rock the Band first, to truly understand the intricate relationships and histories between the band members and their ladies.
Rock My Bed follows the same timeline as Heart, but Riff’s story. And boy does he have a story to tell!
Even though the majority of the book is spent exploring a possible relationship with Aubrey, it was compelling to read through his feelings regarding his falling out with Noel, and to see him struggling with the demons from his past. Let’s not forget, we get to attend Noel and Lane’s wedding!
The book is told through both Riff’s and Aubrey’s pov. It was great to be able to get into the heads of both characters. Aubrey was a strong willed, intelligent heroine; a nice change from the usual whiny, spineless girls a lot of the books have portrayed lately.
I gobbled this book up in one seating, I just could not put it down. My biggest complaint? Now I can’t choose between Noel and Riff…can I have them both?!?
Riff!!!

I reviewed this at MustReadBooksOrDie with my friend Shelley.
The set up for this is definitely up our alley, and the fact that I loved Noel Falcon and Michelle's writing had me wanting to read this even though Riff was a little Ruff around the edges in Rock the Heart.
1) Riff. Holy smokes. I dig the look and the attitude, but when we first met him in the first book, and when Aubrey first meets him, I was with everyone else with my jaw on the floor. How he talks to women, and that whole golden ticket thing, just wow! But if I'm honest, if in my yesteryears (hah, like it's been that long, but I've been with my hubs for almost 10 years, so ya know) a guy came up and kissed me senseless it might not have mattered what BS was spewing out of his mouth. Riff became my favorite when we met him as Zach. Zach has so much pent up anger and sadness, that I started to love him mid-way. He's had 10+ years to think about it and feel hate from his father that he doesn't believe he is worth of giving or receiving love. Hence his non-conventional yet effective way to get women. Women out there who REALLY do behave this way, shame on you..gross! I wish self respect was something everyone was born with!
2) So Aubrey. I really liked how good of a friend she was to Lanie in book 1, and it was interesting to get a look at her thought during all of the events of Rock the Heart. It feels like such an extension of that book and since we know part of what was going on it was cool. She surprised me with how many times she took chances on Riff. Her internal battle of why she should stay away from him were pretty good reasons, especially when he proved her right...every. single. time. But, she didn't listen. The things he does...well...it would take a strroonnnnggg woman to put up with that. I about had a heart attack a couple of times. Eek! Stressful.
3) Kitten. I love nicknames, and while I would think it cheesy if somebody called me that...that way the two of them were together it totally worked. See...he did have at least ONE redeeming quality in the first 25% or so! :D
I also really like this series, and will read anything that Michelle puts out! I really, really hope that Tyke and Trip are on the to be written list!
